This video illustrates how a cell responds to mechanical forces. "Responding to" translates to adapting to external (mechanical) stimuli. Biochemical processes that precede the changes noticeable to the moving human are clearly depicted.
The adaptability of cells is determined at the molecular level, just like the adaptability of the extracellular matrix. Movement generates forces that are internally translated into biochemical processes, with the aim of responding to that external stimulus and reducing stress factors.
On a macro level, this means that purposeful movement stimulates natural adaptability at the molecular level, allowing movement chains to occur in a natural way
