Therapy Thoracic Spine T3-T6 Side Flexion

Have the person lie down relaxed on their side, with both arms in front of the body. The head is brought into flexion to facilitate the movement chain. The therapist places a small cushion or a thinly folded blanket between them. One arm of the therapist is brought under the neck to the cranial processi spinosus. The other hand palpates the caudal processi spinosus.
Using the thorax, the therapist initiates a shift in the dorsal direction, refined by the fingers, directed towards the caudal vertebra. The cranial vertebra is pulled cranially through the spinous process, thereby performing flexion.
